Roseanne Kurposka, Co-Principal
Education has consistently been the primary focus of my professional life, and I continue to thoroughly enjoy working with young people and educators in our schools. I have served as an elementary/middle school principal for over twenty years in three districts - Mendon-Upton, Abington and Grafton .
Prior to my administration roles, I was a 5th and 6th grade teacher for an additional 7 years in the Norfolk Public Schools. I also serve as Grafton’s Social Emotional Learning Director, which is focused on overall wellness within our school community for both students and staff. I look forward to every new year, with a focus on both social emotional learning and focused academic progress.

I have had the privilege of serving as principal of North Street Elementary School since 2014. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to both teaching and administration, starting as a fifth-grade teacher where I found my passion for shaping young minds. In addition to my co-principal role, I also serve as the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator for the Grafton Public Schools. I am deeply appreciative of the NSS community and the entirety of Grafton. The support and collaboration within our community are integral to our success in providing a nurturing and enriching environment for our students.
Being recognized as the 2020 Massachusetts Elementary Principal of the Year was a tremendous honor. It affirmed the dedication and hard work that our team at NSS puts into making our school a great place to teach and learn. Every day, I am driven by the belief that education has the power to transform lives. It is my mission to inspire and empower both students and educators, leaving a positive and lasting impact on our school community and beyond.
